Summer party 2023

At the company event in May, employees from Diatron and Mod n More spent an afternoon together at a summer opening party. This was the second company event of the year following the carnival in February. Preparation had been difficult because of the incessant rain, however thankfully in the end we were able to hold the summer party.

More than 180 people attended, and twelve cooking teams were selected to “dazzle” the jury with their culinary skills and to fight for the top prize, which was an extra day off for the winning team!
Some teams also prepared uniforms for their team members.

The winning dishes were as follows: First place was shared between Venison stew and “catfish with pepper and pasta with cottage cheese”, “pincepörkölt” was second and grilled dishes of different nationalities were third.

As an appetizer, the HR team prepared typical Hungarian party food and much to the delight of everyone, the menu started with sourdough bread with pork fat and onion on it.

Drinks, sunshine, the river Danube and lots of friendly chat enhanced the mood for all, while for those who had enough energy there was the possibility to play soccer and ping pong.

We are glad that so many people took part and we hope that we can start the summer season with the same enthusiasm next year!
