INTERVIEW WITH PHILIPPE DAIRE, INTERNATIONAL HEMATOLOGY PRODUCT MANAGER

We sat down with Philippe, one of our talented Product Managers, to talk about his career journey at Diatron and the latest developments in the hematology field. From tackling challenges to bringing new ideas to life, he shares valuable insights into how industry trends are shaping the future of hematology instruments.

What’s your role at Diatron?
My role is to bring the product to life by meeting the needs of laboratories and supporting our sales team.

How long have you been working in hematology?
25 years in hematology; 37 years in the IVD market

In your opinion, what’s the greatest value that the Diatron hematology line offers to end-users?

Reliable instruments that are easy to handle and maintain, delivering very high-quality results. The instruments also have a long expected lifespan.

What are the trends/tendencies/changes you think will happen in the future of hematology diagnostics?

More and more instruments will use fluorescence technology and microfluidics. Additional parameters will continue to be developed on hematology instruments while still using the same collection tube.

Can you share a personal story or experience where you’ve seen the effects of your/Diatron’s work, for example in a hospital or lab?

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to install instruments and train laboratory staff. The satisfaction of the staff after these installations has always been my greatest pleasure in my work.

What drives Diatron’s vision for the future?

With 35 years of experience in hematology and a motivated team, Diatron will continue to offer reliable solutions to laboratories around the world. Our future is dedicated to serving our customers.
