Charity cookie day 2023

The charity cookie day was organized just few weeks ago and which has now become an annual tradition at the company. All the colleagues were happy to participate in Diatron's CSR activity. The employees made many delicious cakes, which were on sale throughout the whole day, thus collecting as much money as possible for charity. The most special cake was the “Diatron cake” which was a lemon curd cake decorated with an image of the company building. The volunteer confectioners were well prepared: you could choose between both traditional and modern desserts plus they also made several gluten and dairy-free sweets. All cakes were sold by the end of the day.

 
The final amount raised was 292,440 HUF, which was donated by our company to the “Together for Children with Tumor” Foundation. The foundation was very happy that Diatron chose them. The support was used towards the costs of the Tournament of Champions, which was held in Kiskőrös for children who had successfully completed their treatment. We listened intently to the foundation's representative about her experiences and were pleased to learn how well the donation was spent. In addition, to supporting the children the organization also tries to help their families. For example, by establishing apartments where the parents can wash and cook, or just stay. Furthermore, it organizes programs and physical therapy sessions. They also try to actively support the Children's Clinic in Tűzoltó utca to help ease the recovery of the children.

The foundation welcomes the help of qualified volunteers, a monetary donation and the amount received from the 1% tax can also be a great help to them!

We are proud that the company's employees are so supportive and that we were able to support those who need it within the framework of such a great event.
